Shortcut is a Hindi/English thriller set in London in 2010. The film aims to explore the lives of a British Asian professional and ('Vinny') and his immigrant European house-mate and love interest ('Neelam'). The film deals with the pressures faced by young professionals of modern day life and it's consequent affect on relationships and self-confidence.

Shortcut is extremely unique in style as it aims to cross between both Western and Eastern audiences in an native manner. The film has been Directed by Western Director, Natasha Barber, although Shortcut maintains a very strong Eastern flavour and introduces actors Armaan Kirmani (Vinny) and Kiran Kalotia (Neelam) both of whom are of both Western and Asian backgrounds. There is also a special appearance in the film by western actress Jessica Lawless (Monica).

Armaan Kirmani
Armaan Kirmani is a British Asian actor from London, England. Having graduated with a Law degree from Queens' college at the University of Cambridge, Armaan trained as an actor at the Actor Prepares Institute run by veteran Indian actor Anupam Kher in London and Mumbai. He is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Nikhil Advani's Patiala House which is scheduled for release in 2010. His website can be viewed at www.armaankirmani.com. Kiran Kalotia
Kiran Kalotia is an actress and model born and raised in Germany and of Indian origin she completed her degree in Film and TV studies in London and has been professionally trained in acting, voice, hindi diction and classical Indian dance. She worked as an actress and model for various short films, music videos, TV and print ads and has been anchoring several TV shows for major Asian TV channels such as B4U, Zee TV and Play TV.
